This campaign was created to promote UNiDAYS during the 2018 World Cup. In the kick off stage we decided to also introduce a browser/mobile game to help increase engagement, with the help of an in house front end developer.
After a design development stage, to define a style, a creative designer finalised the overall theme of the campaign and we moved into animation production. This consisted of importing the illustrations into After Effects, converting them into vectors for increased flexibility and building a character rig using DUIK. Once I had created the character rig I animated each looping action for use on the main website, in promotional emails and social posts. Depending on the stage of the World Cup and the country a user visited from a different animation would be shown (England, France & Germany). After deploying these I also produced animations for the game, which were exported as sprite sheets and supplied to the developer for implementation.
